Wyoming football player killed, three injured in crashNCAA Football Betting Lines09/06/2010 - Laramie, WY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Wyoming freshman linebacker Ruben Narcisse was killed and three other football players from the Cowboys were hurt during a single-vehicle wreck early Monday morning. Colorado State Patrol stated four players - including Narcisse, 19, were in a Toyota Tundra pickup traveling on Highway 287 north approximately six miles south of the Wyoming state line when the driver of the vehicle apparently fell asleep at the wheel. Injured were cornerback Trey Fox, wide receiver C.J. Morgan and linebacker J.J. Quinlan. The accident took place about 5:30 a.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol. Morgan remains in the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland in fair condition. Quinlan and Fox were taken to Ivinson Memorial Hospital, in Laramie, Wyoming, where they were treated and released. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ruben's family," Wyoming athletics director Tom Burman said. "Our thoughts are also with the students who were involved in the accident and their families as well. Sadly, this athletics department has experienced this kind of loss before, and we know how difficult it is for all involved." There is no evidence that drugs or alcohol played a part in the crash.

Everyone was shocked when Al Davis took Heyward-Bey with the eighth overall pick in April's draft, but the kid has a tremendous amount of talent and if quarterback JaMarcus Russell takes the next step this year, the former Maryland product could blossom. Plus, Heyward-Bey will be looking to prove the people wrong who said Oakland should have taken Michael Crabtree with the No. 8 pick.
